My daughter uses it directly over her skin to calm irritations since she has seborrheic dermatitis. I'd suggest to always have this oil to calm irritations, even to moisturize dry and inflamed skin, rashes, for razor burn, etc.
It contains high amounts of azulene which is a potent anti inflammatory over skin processes.
It can also be used in a diffuser to relax.
